Wulian Week 2026

TGCF Wulian Week will begin Sunday July 5th and run through Saturday July 11th. See the prompts to the left to inspire fanfics and fanart. Post with the hashtag #WulianWeek2026 to participate!**The ao3 collection name will be posted closer to the begin date.

No AI works. No one wants to see that.

While you're encouraged to complete things during the week of the event, you can post out of order or really any time until the start of 2027. The ao3 collection will close at new years.You can include other ships/characters, but please make sure the focus is Wulian/Hualian (with an emphasis on Wuming over Hua Cheng). Both Ghost Fire and Wrath versions are appropriate.

This ship can get dark. Please make sure to warn or tag appropriately for any non-con, graphic or sexual violence, suicide, etc. You are also encouraged to tag more controversial tropes such as m-preg or major character death.

Additional Guidelines

The prompts aren't hard set. You can use one or all of the four daily prompts! You can even swap days or mix and match. As long as something there inspired the work in some way, you're good!

No specific tropes or themes are disallowed or discouraged, but if it's dead dove warranting please tag it as such.

The work doesn't have to be Wulian slash (ie romantic or sexual). It just has to explore the relationship between Xie Lian and Wuming in some form or another.

Feel free to post on days after the event. This is all pretty casual. The important thing is lots of Wulian content!

Please keep things positive. Lets avoid rude/ hateful comments on anyone's fics or posts, and no unwarranted critique. Let's just have fun and enjoy the intricacies of this complicated and canonically underexplored Hualian dynamic!
